Authorities in Texas are on the lookout for a missing primary care nurse practitioner and U.S. Army veteran after she failed to catch a flight to Atlanta on Tuesday.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reports that Anita Elizabeth Gould, aged 56, was last observed early Monday morning between 5 and 6 a.m. She was due to fly out that afternoon.
Gould is characterized as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a black shirt, pink jacket, and two-toned pants. She was driving a black 2019 Buick Enclave with the Texas license plate NUMEDV.
The San Antonio Express News has noted that Gould is a board-certified family nurse practitioner holding a doctorate in nursing. She is the proprietor of Haute Wellness & MediSpa located in San Antonio.
A retired Army lieutenant colonel, Gould dedicated 30 years to military service, earning multiple accolades. Originally from New York, she moved to San Antonio after retirement and founded Haute Wellness in 2022.
