The ongoing search for a missing 75-year-old woman from Tennessee has now extended into Kentucky, authorities confirmed.

According to WSMV 4, Alama Fowler was last observed on February 12, close to Herrington Road in Camden, Tennessee. She reportedly left the area on foot, prompting police to issue a Silver Alert to aid in her recovery.

Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher stated on Wednesday, “We have made every possible effort in this urgent search. Our team remains in the Herrington Road area, although our search operations are now limited.”

“The scope of the investigation has broadened, reaching into another state as well as other counties in Western Tennessee,” he added.

Fowler has a medical condition that could possibly prevent her from returning home safely.

She’s described as standing 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing around 110 pounds. She has brown eyes and grey hair. According to Lex 18, Fowler was last seen wearing:

  • A green puffy jacket
  • Tan jeans
  • White snow boots
  • White head band

“Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation,” police haven’t released additional details, Christopher added. However, K9 unit, park rangers, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol are assisting in the search.
