A Florida woman allegedly shot another female “in her buttocks” and “back area” with a pistol after the victim went to her home on Saturday looking for her boyfriend, who was inside with the suspect, cops say.

Jahniya Meda, 25, is charged with attempted murder for the early morning shooting at her home in the 3000 block of Northwest 184th Street in Miami Gardens, according to police.

Meda”s arrest affidavit, obtained by Law&Crime, details how the victim went to Meda’s home “knowing her boyfriend was inside.” She knocked on Meda’s door and “asked her boyfriend to come outside,” police said.

“The victim reported that as she began walking from the front door westbound toward a side gate, [Meda] opened the front door, stepped outside onto the porch, and fired two shots in her direction while stating, ‘Get from my house!'” according to the affidavit, which notes how the incident was allegedly caught on a Ring camera.

The victim’s boyfriend can be seen “fleeing the area” in a Mercedes-Benz immediately after the alleged shooting. Cops were called to the scene and eventually caught up with the boyfriend, who admitted to being inside Meda’s home and bedroom when the victim showed up looking for him.

“He explained that he did not answer the door because it was not his residence; however, Meda went to the door, and shortly thereafter he heard gunshots,” the affidavit says.

Meda was taken into custody and questioned by detectives. She allegedly claimed that the victim showed up to her home at around 9:50 a.m. and started “banging on the door and yelling that she was going to beat [Meda’s] a—,” according to the affidavit.

“Meda advised she recognized the female from a prior incident involving the same boyfriend referenced above,” the document alleges.

The victim was found parked at a nearby park and taken to a local hospital for treatment, police say. Meda was being held Monday without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
