3 New Netflix Shows With at Least 90 Percent on Rotten Tomatoes (October 2025)

It’s exceedingly rare for shows to score over 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Even Netflix’s newly arrived reruns of Showtime’s Nurse Jackie only had an 81 percent score.

In fact, there are only three new Netflix shows with at least 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, and all three are returning series.

Two of the shows are Netflix originals, but they couldn’t be more different from each other.

Watch With Us‘ final selection of the month is on loan from AMC, and quite literally one of the best shows on TV.

‘The Diplomat’ (2023 – Present)

Rotten Tomatoes rank: 90 percent

The Diplomat is one of the rare Netflix originals that’s been getting new seasons every year, with at least a fourth season already lined up. This political thriller stars Keri Russell as Kate Wyler, the new American ambassador to the United Kingdom. Kate’s political star is eclipsing that of her husband, Hal Wyler (Rufus  Sewell), but she’s stepped into an international crisis that may test the United States’ bond with the United Kingdom.

Season 3 is coming later this month, and it finds Kate in another delicate position. Grace Penn (Allison Janney), the outgoing Vice President of the US, is now the President, and Kate knows where most of her bodies are buried. Those kinds of secrets are difficult to keep, and Kate may not be able to trust the new president with her life or her career.

The Diplomat seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix. Season 3 premieres on October 16.

‘Nobody Wants This’ (2024 – Present)

Rotten Tomatoes rank: 95 percent

Nobody Wants This was last year’s breakout romantic comedy series on Netflix, which may be why a new season is coming just 13 months after the first one. Kristen Bell and Adam Brody play an unlikely couple, Joanne Williams and Noah Roklov. She’s a relationship podcaster who doesn’t really believe in religion, while he’s a rabbi who is steadfast in his faith.

Nobody Wants This Who Is and Isnt Returning

Adam Rose/Netflix The second season of Nobody Wants This is about to start filming after blowing up online — but is every fan favorite returning for more episodes of the show? Nobody Wants This, which premiered in September 2024, centered on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman Joanne (played by Kristen Bell) and […]

Season 2 finds Joanne and Noah even more deeply entwined in each other’s lives as they face some of the big questions about what comes next. Neither of them knows what the future holds, but their love for each other seems genuine, and it might just be enough to get them through the rough patches ahead.

Nobody Wants This season 1 is streaming on Netflix. Season 2 premieres on October 23.

‘Dark Winds’ (2022 – Present)

Rotten Tomatoes rank: 100 percent

AMC’s Dark Winds is one of the rare shows with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. It’s best described as ‘a noir thriller set in the 1970s in the Four Corners region of the southwest, an area that largely belongs to the native tribes. Zahn McClarnon stars as tribal police lieutenant Joe Leaphorn alongside Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee, an FBI agent who has gone undercover as Leaphorn’s deputy.

The third season premiered on AMC earlier this year, but it’s going to drop on Netflix later this month. Leaphorn is once again front and center in the new season, as one of his deepest secrets comes to the surface while he hunts a killer. He’s seen just about everything, but Leaphorn may be right when he describes his latest target as a “monster.”

Dark Winds seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix. Season 3 will arrive on October 27.
