Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are offering fans a glimpse into their lives as parents of three children.
The duo attended the 35th Gotham Film Awards on Monday, where they shared insights about their family life since the arrival of their newest member.
The famous couple is parents to sons RZA, 3, and Riot Rose, 2, and welcomed their daughter, Rocki Irish, in September.
Rocky, 37, expressed his surprise at how well his older sons have bonded while adapting to their baby sister’s presence.
“I’m pleasantly surprised by how well the older two are getting along,” he shared. “Typically, kids so close in age tend to squabble, but we’re a happy family.”
“Well, I’m surprised that the older two [are] getting along as much as they are,” he told the outlet. “You know, usually for them to be so close and age, [they’d] fight a lot, but [we’re] a happy family.”
Rihanna also reflected on motherhood during her own chat with Extra, saying that their kids are “amazing” and changing every day. “The babies are amazing. They’re all getting bigger, and I cannot take it,” she said. “My sons, oh my god, their faces are changing. Their necks are getting longer. I love it.”
Rocky later spoke with E! News about the upcoming holiday season and shared that he is hoping for a classic Christmas at home with Rihanna and their three children.
“I’m looking forward to white Christmas with snow and some chestnuts roasting,” he said. “Logs in the fireplace, stuff like that.”
The holidays, he said, are really about time together. “Togetherness,” he explained. “Just being together, that’s enough.” He added that being able to enjoy time with his children is more than he could ask for, calling it “a dream come true.”
The evening also gave the pair a moment to enjoy each other’s company. Rocky told the outlet that having Rihanna by his side always feels special, adding, “Every day is date night. It’s awesome.”
