A$AP Rocky recently shared heartfelt insights into his family life, speaking candidly about his three children with Rihanna. During an appearance on Popcast, the rapper delved into the distinct personalities of his two sons, Rza and Riot, who are surprisingly different despite being born just 14 months apart.
Rocky described his eldest son, Rza, as quite introspective. “My first son, Rza, he’s really the opposite of his brother,” he explained. “He’s antisocial and prefers keeping to himself.” This contrast is striking given their close ages, with Rza being three years old and his brother two.
The younger son, Riot, appears to be the life of the party, bursting with energy and charm. “My second son is just a social—at this point, he wants to steal the room when he walks in,” Rocky shared. Riot’s love for typical childhood pleasures, like cotton candy, highlights his outgoing nature. In contrast, Rza has never touched candy and has no interest in it, illustrating the unique differences between the siblings.
His younger son, however, has a much more outgoing personality.
“My second son is just a social—at this point he wants to steal the room when he walks in. He’s addicted to cotton candy, likes typical little kid stuff. My first son never ate candy a day in his life and hates it,” Rocky added.
Rocky also opened up about becoming a girl dad following the arrival of his daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, in 2025.
“When I got my two boys, I was like, nah, this is lit. Then baby Rocki came in and took over the whole household,” he said.
“She’s four months. Four months on the 13th. She looks exactly identical to me. She’s very talkative at four months. Likes to giggle and smile,” he continued.

When it comes to parenting, Rocky said he and Rihanna don’t follow a strict good cop, bad cop approach. Instead, they give their children room to explore who they are.
“I still feel like a lot of the morale I imagined when I thought about having kids is how I turned out. If they want to explore, I let them. I’m a vegetarian, but my kids eat whatever they want. I let them be themselves,” he said.
A$AP Rocky also said he is intentional about teaching his children through example.
“I want to be the guy who teaches my daughter what men do. I want to teach my son what women do. I want to teach my son how to throw footballs and slapbox without hurting each other,” he explained.

Looking back, A$AP Rocky said fatherhood aligns closely with the vision he once had for himself.
“I always said if I became a dad, I’d be the coolest dad. Being a dad made me cooler,” he said.
He also credited Rihanna as an essential part of that journey.
“I always wanted to be a parent. You have to be careful who you bring children into the world with. She is my dog. I [mess] with her heavy,” Rocky added.
