Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel are making headlines again — this time after being spotted carrying a newborn baby in Minnesota.
The sisters, who gained international fame for their TLC reality show Abby & Brittany, were photographed on Thursday, Aug. 14, holding a car seat as they placed it into a black Tesla in Arden Hills, per photos obtained by TMZ.
The sighting comes not long after the world learned that Abby had secretly tied the knot with Joshua Bowling, a nurse and Army veteran. Though the couple married in 2021, the ceremony was kept private until marriage records surfaced in March 2024, drawing renewed public fascination with the Hensels.
Bowling later updated his Facebook profile picture to include both Abby and Brittany, smiling together in a cozy selfie. The move was widely noted because his previous profile photos hadn’t featured either of the twins.
Since their marriage went public, the sisters have leaned into social media, sharing glimpses of their lives that fans rarely saw after their TLC series ended. In June, Abby and Brittany uploaded a TikTok of Abby and Bowling’s wedding dance, set to a remix of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” Another clip posted that same day showed playful moments between the twins, captioned: “We know you think you know us🖤❤️🔥 #sisterhoodgoals #abbyandbrittanyhensel #happy.”
The Hensels, born in 1990 in Minnesota, are dicephalic conjoined twins who share a single body and set of organs below the waist, with Abby controlling the right side and Brittany the left. Their story first captivated audiences with an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996, followed by a memorable LIFE magazine cover.
In 2012, TLC’s Abby & Brittany gave viewers an intimate look at their daily lives, from finishing college at Bethel University to traveling across Europe. Though the show lasted only one season, it cemented the sisters as enduring public figures whose unique bond continues to intrigue fans decades later.
