Prince William and Kate Middleton have been together since they were in college. The Prince and Princess of Wales first met at the University of Edinburgh; they dated for nearly eight years before William proposed in 2010. The couple wed in 2011 and have since welcomed three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Kate took most of 2024 off from public engagements to focus on her health, but now that she is back, it’s clear that she and William have one sweet way of showing the world how connected they are during royal appearances.

Rather, when the Wales family makes a public appearance, they’re all wearing their own style but are subtly connected through colors or patterns. On Christmas 2024, the family all wore tartan patterns.
