Renowned Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has unveiled a heartfelt initiative in celebration of her 35th birthday, choosing to sponsor an in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure for one fortunate female fan. This act of generosity is a departure from the traditional festivities and is aimed at making a tangible difference in someone’s life.
In a candid video posted on her Instagram account on Friday, February 6, 2026, Ademoye shared the details of this unique birthday plan. She invited her followers to participate by leaving comments on her post, from which the recipient of this generous offer will be selected. Interestingly, she noted that the final choice will be left to others, not her own.
The inspiration for this benevolent gesture stemmed from her fans’ curiosity about her decision to skip the usual birthday photoshoot. Ademoye explained that she was weary of the routine and sought to channel her birthday energy into a more meaningful endeavor, particularly one that addresses fertility struggles faced by many women.
Reflecting on her motivations, the actress shared a personal vow she made with God regarding her film “Broken Hallelujah.” She had hoped the movie, which delves into the challenges of infertility within a marriage, would reach 20 million views on YouTube. Although released in April 2025, it did not achieve this milestone, yet it sparked her commitment to offering an IVF procedure to a fan.
Despite her initial disappointment, Ademoye found solace when her other project from 2025, “Where Love Lives,” surpassed the 20-million-view threshold. This unexpected success in a love-themed film allowed her to honor her vow in a different, yet fulfilling way, bringing a sense of gratitude and closure to her promise.
Now celebrating her birthday and the milestone, the actress confirmed she is prepared to honour her promise by sponsoring the IVF treatment in the days ahead.
She captioned the video: “Someone you know might benefit from it. Please watch till the end. Thank you all for loving me the way you do. I hope whoever wins it gets a successful procedure. Congratulations in advance.”

@teefeh_05:”Please, I’m humbly asking you to consider my sister for this blessing 🙏 She’s in her mid-40s and the first daughter in a family of five girls. My parents had me at an older age, so she practically became my mother she trained me in school, gives me allowance, pays both her rent and my parents’ house rent, and still supports them with feeding money from her small salary. She once tried starting IVF but had to stop because the bills were too heavy and there was nothing left to save after family responsibilities. I’m still in school and I’m doing my best to support by avoiding unnecessary expenses and fending for myself whenever I can, but it’s still not enough to cover something as big as IVF. She has sacrificed her whole life for us. This would mean everything to her and to our family. God bless you for this kindness ❤️.”
