Nollywood star Joke Jigan has been thrown into mourning following the death of her sister, Lizzy.

The actress announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram, sharing photos of herself with her late sister while pouring out her grief.

In her emotional post, Joke questioned the recent wave of deaths and hinted she might step away from social media for a while. “Be like na to log off all social media for now because what in the name of death is going on? Rest in peace Lizzy, my darling sis,” she wrote.

Details surrounding Lizzy’s passing have not been revealed, but condolence messages have begun flooding in from fans, friends, and colleagues in the movie industry, offering support to the actress during this difficult time.

She stated:

“To my darling husband, thank you for your love and support throughout my pregnancy and beyond. Even at the theatre, you were there on the phone. You are a caring father and a devoted husband, and we are truly blessed.”
