Recently, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz joyfully marked their son Egypt’s 15th birthday with a heartfelt tribute shared on social media. The proud parents took to their platforms to express their love and admiration for their teenage son.

Alicia Keys began the touching post with a jubilant message, saying, “Happy Birthday, my young King!!” Accompanying the post was a reel set to an original musical composition, highlighting the family’s creative spirit.

In her heartfelt words, Keys celebrated Egypt’s innate talents and passion, writing, “You were born for this! You’ve always loved it! Everything you touch is magic!!” Her admiration for his spirit and character was evident as she continued to praise his kindness, passion, determination, and drive.

She concluded the tribute with an empowering note, encouraging him to stay true to himself: “You got it!! May you always be exactly who you are! Unapologetically!! Let’s go Egypt!!”

The two multi-talented musicians share five children together. They are parents to two sons: Egypt and Genesis. Alicia is also stepmother to Swizz Beatz’s three older children from previous relationships: Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr., and Nicole.

Recently, the “Girl on Fire” singer and her eldest son went on a mother-son-date. She shared a series of photos of the moment on social media, reflecting on Egypt’s growth and of course, expressed just how proud of him she is. 

“Mom-son date night makes me so happy!” she began her post. 

“Watching you grow into such a brilliant, kind, determined, young soul takes my breath away,” she wrote. “I’m beyond proud of the young king you’re becoming.”

During the summer, the Grammy-winning artist and her husband took the entire family to Japan to join her as she performed in the the two-day Summer Sonic Festival back in August. 

In addition to being able to watch their mother perform, Swizz Beatz and the rest of the family also had the opportunity to soak up the culture and fun of one of the most fascinating cultures.

“Surrounded by love, soaking in the beauty of Japan, cherishing every moment! What a blessing,” the 44-year-old captioned on Instagram carousel of images that shared the mix of adventure and downtime.

The trip ended up being more than a family vacation. Alicia summed it all up as being, “good for her soul.”
