The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Jennifer Aydin apparently made a huge mistake when she walked into a Jersey Mike’s location. A tantrum inside the chain sandwich shop has gone viral, and it’s reportedly affecting every facet of her life, including her marriage to plastic surgeon Bill Aydin. Jennifer Aydin shared her ‘disappointing’ experience at Jersey Mike’s on Instagram

Jennifer Aydin is used to getting what she wants when she wants it. When two Jersey Mike’s employees didn’t build her sandwiches how she wanted, she decided to whip out her camera and record her meltdown. Aydin, never one to read the room, then took that recording to Instagram, where she told her 500,000 followers that the employees at the sandwich chain refused to serve her, acted rudely, and took forever to put her order together. She even criticized the “hater” in line behind her during her rant.  

The upload did not go as planned. The backlash was swift. While Aydin seemed to think she was justified in berating Jersey Mike’s employees, her Instagram followers were not amused, and apparently, neither was her husband. During a chat with Page Six, Aydin admitted her husband, Bill Aydin, is pretty pissed off about the situation. According to Aydin, he told her not to post the video to Instagram. Bill Aydin, however, was on hand during the incident. He did not intervene.

While Jennifer Aydin got her side of the story out first, followers were confident there was more to the story. They didn’t need to wait long to confirm that more was happening behind the scenes. A Jersey Mike’s employee tasked with helping Jennifer Aydin during the “incident” took to TikTok to set the record straight. She did not hold back.

The employee, whose video quickly went viral, said Aydin’s recollection of events was inaccurate. The employee noted that they were understaffed when Aydin walked in. She said the reality TV star was holding up the line when they told her she’d need to move to the back of the line for any additional sandwiches. According to the employee, that is when Aydin flipped out and threatened to sue after revealing she was a “celebrity.” Before that, Aydin allegedly changed their bread choice multiple times at the last minute and could not figure out what she actually wanted to order. The employees of Jersey Mike’s had one piece of advice for Jennifer Aydin: they suggested she learn how to order food properly.

Everyone is weighing in on the drama now

Jennifer Aydin still insists that she was not rude to the employees of Jersey Mike’s, despite there being video evidence of her being rude. Still, it seems her freakout has far-reaching consequences. After the employee’s retort video went viral, Aydin was nixed from a fan event. She will no longer appear at the ‘Wives on the Waves” getaway slated to set sail in September. Her co-stars are weighing in, too.

Margaret Josephs and Danielle Cabral have both spoken about the situation. Josephs said she had “second-hand embarrassment” for Aydin during an appearance on Sirius XM’s Reality Checked. Cabral, who has battled many times with Aydin, called her out, too.

Josephs and Cabral, who had plenty of run-ins with Aydin during The Real Housewives of New Jersey, aren’t the only ones weighing in. Dorinda Medley, who appeared on a different Real Housewives installment, also spoke out against Aydin when she visited Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. Medley called the entire ordeal offensive and said Aydin could not have behaved worse. She went on to say she could not understand what Aydin was thinking.
