AMBER Heard has announced she has welcomed twins – a boy and a girl. 

As the US prepares to celebrate Mother’s Day, actress Amber, 38, announced that this year will be “one she never forgets”.

Sharing a picture of the babies’ feet on Instagram, Amber wrote in the caption: “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. 

“Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.” 

“When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever,” she continued. 

“I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!” 

“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” Amber wrote. 

“I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.

“To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you.” 

She signed off the sentimental post with: “Love always, A x” 

Amber’s pregnancy was first revealed back in December, with a representative saying she was “delighted beyond words” at the upcoming arrival. 

She previously had daughter Oonagh Paige in April 2021.

Following her highly publicised legal disputes with ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2022, she relocated to Spain for a more quiet life with her daughter.

It is not known if Amber is currently in a relationship, though it is notable that for both pregnancies the Rum Diary actress said she wanted to be a parent ‘on her own terms’.

In a post on Instagram at the time of Oonagh’s birth, she wrote: “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.

“I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
