Ana Navarro took aim at First Lady Melania Trump as President Donald Trump has continued threatening to strip immigrants of their citizenship.

“Maybe someone should remind Trump his wife is a naturalized citizen,” she pointed out. “If my naturalized citizenship can be taken away, so can her’s by somebody else in the future.”

The ladies had been discussing Trump’s recent move to begin deporting naturalized citizens, or an immigrant who obtained citizenship through the legal process.

Sunny Hostin noted that she finds it “really interesting” that President Trump said he is looking to possibly deport Elon Musk amid their continuing “feud.”

“The Department of Justice is now prioritizing seeking to strip citizenship from naturalized citizens,” she said, adding that they plan to target citizens who commit crimes such as fraud. “The commander in chief was found guilty of fraud, so why is he of anyone mandating the Department of Justice to use that as a basis?”

Navarro also slammed Trump for slamming Musk in a series of posts on Truth Social as opposed to focusing on the floods in Texas, which have now claimed more than 80 lives.

“I was appalled last night that Donald Trump was twittering, Truth Social-ing about this fight with Elon Musk at a time when there’s death, sorrow and tragedy in Texas,” Navarro complained on the show.

“Instead, of that he’s taking the time to fight with his former bromance partner Elon Musk,” she continued, calling Musk “mercurial.”
