Andy Cohen is sticking up for Joy Behar after White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers called her an “irrelevant loser.”

At the end of Wednesday night’s (July 23) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Cohen said, “Tonight’s Jackhole goes to White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers, who took time out of what I assume is her very busy schedule to call our friend Joy Behar an irrelevant loser.”

“Finally, an administration who is going after the real enemies of the people, the 2007, Season 10 cast of The View,” he sarcastically added, as a photo of the cast, including Behar and Rosie O’Donnell, appeared on the screen. “Keep going, you guys.”

Rogers’ remark was a response to Behar’s claim on Wednesday’s episode of The View that President Donald Trump is “so jealous” of former President Barack Obama.

“The thing about him is he is so jealous of Obama because Obama is everything that he is not,” Behar said during the broadcast. “[He’s] trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and he can sing Al Green’s song ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green.”

She added, “Trump cannot stand it. It’s driving him crazy.”

Following the episode, Rogers clapped back in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, telling the outlet, “Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s no surprise that The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year. She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air.”

Trump’s administration has been going off on The View co-hosts in recent weeks. White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson slammed Ana Navarro over her criticism of Alligator Alcatraz and Trump’s immigration policies on the July 11 episode of The View.

“Every time you think Ana Navaro [sic] can’t get any dumber, she proves you wrong,” Jackson said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly, before adding, “No one who has any interest in facts or logic should pay attention to whatever Ana is spewing on TV because it’s probably wrong or stupid or, most likely, both.”

Moreover, Trump recently reignited his years-long feud with O’Donnell by threatening to take away her U.S. citizenship in scathing Truth Social post. He called her a “threat to humanity” and claimed he was “giving serious consideration” to taking away her citizenship, before suggesting that O’Donnell, who recently relocated to Ireland, stay where she’s currently living “if they want her.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
