Andy Cohen trolls Austen Kroll on 'WWHL': "We know you are obsessed with Craig"

Andy Cohen is known for his candid interactions, and his latest encounter with Austen Kroll in the Bravo Clubhouse was no exception.

During Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live on December 3, Cohen playfully prodded Kroll about his apparent fixation on his Southern Charm co-star and frenemy, Craig Conover.

As discussions turned to the ongoing tensions between the two on Southern Charm, Cohen inquired about Kroll’s thoughts on Conover’s drinking habits this season. This comes after Conover openly addressed his struggles with “addiction” in the show’s 10th season.

Kroll acknowledged the frequent inquiries he receives on the topic, admitting, “It almost makes it look like I’m obsessed with Craig and his life.” Cohen quickly interjected with a light-hearted remark, “Well, we know you are obsessed with Craig, but that’s OK.”

Kroll retorted, noting that Conover seems to interpret it that way, adding, “He’s certainly taking it in that way. I find it head-scratching.”

Cohen, along with Madison LeCroy, continued to poke fun at Kroll when an audience member asked the two to describe the single Top Hop Beers founder’s “perfect match.”

“There’s only one match for Austen,” Cohen said, as he and LeCroy simultaneously named Conover.

“Come on, just do it,” LeCroy joked, to which Kroll replied, “This is a setup.”

Later on in the episode, Cohen read a fan’s question asking why Kroll is “so jealous” of Conover. Instead of responding, Kroll laughed uncomfortably, while LeCroy noted that Conover has “good hair.”

Cohen agreed, telling his guest, “He has objectively better hair than you,” to which Kroll answered, “Oof. That hurts.”

The back and forth between Kroll and Conover is a plot point that never fails to rear its head in Southern Charm. When DECIDER caught up with Conover ahead of Season 11, he said, “You never know when Austen’s going to have an issue with something I do. It’s very unpredictable. I’m just as surprised as everyone a lot of times.”

While they’re able to put their beef aside for their joint business ventures, Conover noted, “When it comes to the minutia of how we live our lives or our day to day, or the quality time that we spend together, that’s where we seem to be missing. Once again, you’ll just see us try to figure out what our friendship is. Austen had some issues last year with me not being around enough. This year, you’ll see the opposite concern.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
