Nollywood star Angela Okorie recently took to Instagram to express her views on the vital importance of safeguarding one’s peace and self-worth.

In her post, Okorie urged her followers to maintain their inner tranquility despite the actions of others, pointing out that everyone has the ability to decide how they respond to various circumstances.

She further stressed the importance of being surrounded by individuals who contribute positivity rather than causing stress. Okorie encouraged her audience to prioritize self-care and embrace self-love, underlining that a person’s self-worth is deeply tied to how much they value themselves.

Reaching out directly to her fans, she wrote: “This is for someone out there. Don’t let the behavior of others ruin your peace. While you might not control everything that happens to you, you can determine how you respond and refuse to be diminished by it. Your peace is more important than exhausting yourself trying to understand why things happen the way they do. Let it go.”

Addressing her audience directly, she wrote: “This is for someone out there. Don’t let the behaviour of others ruin your peace. You may not have control over everything that happens to you, but you can choose your response and refuse to be diminished by it. Your peace matters more than exhausting yourself trying to understand why things happen the way they do. Let it go.”

“The people in your life should be a source of reducing stress, not causing more of it. You are more valuable than you realize. Whatever you obtained by begging would also be maintained by begging!

“The price tag you put on yourself decides your worth. Underestimating yourself will cost you dearly. Don’t beg or crave for friendships, rather invest in yourself and personality, and the right set of people would come to you. Grace attracts the right people to you and brings you before the right people”.
