In 2025, John “Tectone,” a well-known streamer and former member of the gaming group One True King (OTK), faced serious accusations of sexual assault. These allegations were brought forth by Tectone’s ex-partner, Pinkchyu, and included claims of harassment, gaslighting, and stalking during their relationship.
On January 23, 2026, the court responded to these allegations by issuing a long-term protective order in favor of Pinkchyu. The case has sparked widespread reaction among online content creators, many of whom have publicly criticized Tectone. Among those speaking out is Brax “Braxophone” Montelli, an Anime Game Creator and Partnered Twitch Streamer.
Interestingly, back in early 2024, Tectone had shown support for Braxophone during a controversy involving another creator, Atsu. Atsu was accused of gatekeeping access to events organized by HoYoverse, the video game developer known for popular titles like Genshin Impact.
In light of the current allegations against Tectone, Braxophone has clearly distanced himself from the streamer. He took to X to state that he no longer associates with Tectone, despite acknowledging that Tectone had been supportive during challenging times in his life.
Notably, in early 2024, John publicly supported Braxophone’s criticisms of another creator, Atsu, who was allegedly gatekeeping access to HoYoverse (a video game developer responsible for titles like Genshin Impact) events.
Following the recent allegations, Brax took to X and made it clear that he no longer has an association with Tectone, whom the Twitch streamer mentioned ‘helped him while he was going through difficult times’:
“When someone approaches you during a low point and offers a hand, most of the time you take it… I confided in Tectone… he felt like a very genuine person to me.”
He went on to mention that, at the time, he accepted John’s representation of his relationship with Pinkchyu, and in retrospect, he stated that he “probably shouldn’t have taken his word for it,” especially after the court documents were recently released:
“I probably shouldn’t have taken his word for it… Either way that was a poor judgement on my part.”
He also apologized to Pinkchyu, saying:
“I apologize for any unfair assumptions I made about Pink, and I hope she gets the justice and healing she deserves.”
Finally, he mentioned an explicit break:
“I’ve made the decision to cut him out of my life going forward.”
“I didn’t want to believe Tectone did something so horrible”: Braxophone adds to his statement
After his original 740-word statement, Brax followed up and mentioned a specific video from the past wherein he claimed that Pinkchyu could potentially be lying. He clarified that he said those words before the court documents came out:
“There is a clip going around of me mentioning Pink’s mental health issues, saying it’s possible she lied in court, and then saying I want to wait until the documents come out… that was me before reading over the case.”
He went on to say that the documents, which were seemingly made viral by and sourced from John’s fellow former OTK member, Mizkif, might not be the best source, considering Mizkif’s controversial relationship with streamer and cosplayer Emiru:
“Again, I still believe waiting for the documents was the right thing to do– I don’t particularly think Mizkif is the best person to be sourcing information like that from, especially given the situation he’s in with Emi.”
He ended by mentioning how disbelief clouded his judgment:
“But implying that there was even a possibility of Pink lying goes to show how much I didn’t want to believe Tectone did something so horrible, despite the writing being on the wall.”
In other news, Mizkif stated that Tectone lost his sexual assault court case against Pinkchyu, and said that the streamer got a “restraining order months ago.”
