Dragon Ball features one of the most powerful rogues galleries of any anime. As the Z-Fighters have grown in strength over the years, so have their enemies – and this doesn’t just apply to the iconic villains like Frieza, Cell, and Jiren. Dragon Ball’s strongest villains tend to be the big bads of arcs, but they’ve also had some highly dangerous henchmen.

While Dragon Ball Super doesn’t feature too many new main villains, there are a surprising number of underlings who have managed to give Goku and his friends and run for their money. At different points, some of these antagonists have even defeated Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo.

Captain Ginyu Became More Powerful Than Ever After Stealing Tagoma’s Body

Ginyu Managed to Survive an Attack From Gohan

By training with Frieza at the start of the Resurrection ‘F’ Saga, Tagoma goes from being an above-average Frieza Force soldier to one of the strongest fighters in Universe 7. While Piccolo and the human Z-Fighters have no trouble dispatching most of the New Frieza Army, they’re thoroughly outclassed by Tagoma. When Captain Ginyu steals Tagoma’s body, he’s able to make even better use out of it.

Whereas Ginyu previously wasn’t even as strong as the Heeter Family’s Macki, Tagmoa’s body makes him far more powerful than both Shisami and Piccolo. The Super Namekian, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Master Roshi all fall to him, with none of them even able to put up a fight. Ginyu still can’t hold a candle to Gohan, but he is impressively able to withstand one of the Super Saiyan’s attacks.

Frost is the Only True Villain in Either of Dragon Ball Super’s Tournaments

Frost is Overshadowed by Hit and Jiren During the Arcs in Which He Appears

As the multiversal counterpart of Frieza, Frost is naturally one of the strongest beings in Universe 6. However, the pathetic scoundrel isn’t nearly as formidable or competent as Dragon Ball’s most iconic villain. His debut in the Tournament of Destroyers is just one humiliation after another, as Frost has to resort to cheating to defeat both Goku and Piccolo, and he’s beaten in one hit by Vegeta.

Even following his previous failures, Frost was still deemed worthy by Champa of joining Team Universe 6 for the Tournament of Power. However, in both the Dragon Ball Super anime and manga, his most impressive eliminations are achieved via sneak attacks. Frost doesn’t defeat anyone notable fairly in the anime, and his greatest achievement in the manga is merely overpowering Tien.

Bikkura Quoitur is Far From the Strongest Galactic Patrol Prisoner Unleashed by Moro

Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu Were Unable to Overpower Bikkura Quoitur

Like Auta-Magetta, Bikkura Quoitur is a Metalman. Unlike Universe 6’s friendly giant, Bikkura Quoitur is a hardened criminal. What’s more, Bikkura Quoitur is a member of the Moro Corps, enhanced by his leader’s mystical abilities.

Ultra Ego Vegeta Remains Dragon Ball Super’s Biggest Mistake

Ultra Ego Vegeta failed to live up to his potential so bad, Dragon Ball Super honestly should have never even bothered.

During the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, Bikkura Quoitur takes on both Tien and Chiaotzu. While not much of this fight is shown, the human Z-Fighters are shown to be at a clear disadvantage. The heroes only win via Chiaotzu exploiting the weakness shared by all Metalmen: mean insults.

Yunba Received Incredible Strength in Exchange For Serving Moro

Yunba Nearly Defeated Krillin in Battle

Yunba beats up Krillin - Dragon Ball Super

Despite his silly appearance, Yunba is a monster in battle. After having his power enhanced by Moro, he became strong enough to challenge Krillin, the strongest human, one-on-one. During their fight, Yunba lands some devastating blows on Krillin, severely injuring him.

Yunba’s special ability allows him to spin around as a means of deflecting attacks. Useful as this sounds, it wasn’t enough to protect him from Krillin. Yunba may have started out well against him but, in the end, he was beaten by Krillin’s Kamehameha.

Yuzun Withstood a Galick Gun From Vegeta

Yuzun’s Transformed State Was Held in High Regard by His Fellow Prisoners

Monster Form Yuzun strikes in the Dragon Ball Super manga.

Yuzun is among the stronger members of the Moro Corps, even if he never gets to demonstrate this. As a callback to Zarbon, Yuzun has a pretty body with a more monstrous form. Unfortunately for Yuzun, being a callback to Zarbon means getting blown away by Vegeta.

To Yuzun’s credit, he’s able to survive being hit by Vegeta’s Galick Gun. Even with a power boost from Moro, however, he was still helpless against Base Vegeta. Saganbo may have been surprised by Yuzun’s defeat, but no Dragon Ball fan should have been.

Zauyogi Simultaneously Overwhelmed Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu

Goku Defeated Zayuogi With a Single Attack

Zayuogi was one of the deadliest criminals being held prisoner by the Galactic Patrol. He openly boasts about this superiority over his fellow inmates, and he demonstrates exactly how true his claims are during his fight against the human Z-Warriors. Not only is Yamcha outclassed by Zauyogi, but the arrival of Tien and Chiaotzu isn’t able to help even the odds at all.

Many minor Dragon Ball characters have passionate fans that would have loved to see more of them.

Zauyogi was likely plenty formidable to begin with, even before his strength was elevated by Moro, but Zauyogi was still a bug to Base Goku with his mystical power boost. The Moro Corps elite wasn’t even able to withstand a single punch from Universe 7’s hero.

Shimorekka Briefly Held His Own Against Android 18

Shimorekka Failed to Do Any Real Damage to Android 18

Shimorekka may be small, but he’s also the strongest normal member of the Moro Corps. While most of his fellow elites challenge the human Z-Fighters after being empowered by Moro, Shimorekka is strong enough to take on Android 18. However, this isn’t a battle that ends well for Shimorekka.

While Shimorekka does his best against the strongest woman in Universe 7, he isn’t actually able to damage her. It’s merely the fact that he survives as long as he does that suggests him to be superior to most of his peers but, even then, 18 may just not have been trying too hard. Shimorekka punched above his weight, and was punished for it.

3

Seven-Three Has the Power to Copy the Abilities of His Enemies

Seven-Three Was No Match For Android 17

Seven-Three is easily the most unique member of the Moro Corps. An emotionless Android, he possesses the ability to copy the techniques of other warriors, including their transformations, and he has the same infinite energy benefit shared by Androids 17 and 18. Although this sounds impressive, 17 doesn’t see Seven-Three as much of a threat.

Throughout the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, Seven-Three copies the powers of Gohan, Piccolo, and Moro himself. Despite this advantage, he loses to the combined strength of Gohan and Piccolo, as well as to 17 and 18. The most useful thing Seven-Three is ever able to actually do for Moro’s crusade is to be absorbed by his master.

2

Saganbo is the Strongest of All of Moro’s Minions

The Z-Fighters Needed Goku’s Help to Defeat Saganbo

Saganbo's body shuts down after being overloaded with energy during his fight against Goku in Dragon Ball Super.

Next to Moro himself, Saganbo is the most powerful antagonist in the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga. While always one of the Galactic Patrol’s strongest inmates, according to Vegeta, Trunks would have been able to defeat him before his power was enhanced by Moro. After receiving this mystical enhancement, however, Saganbo becomes a far greater threat.

Dragon Ball Officially Confirms ‘Super Hero Saga Is Finally Coming to an End’ – New Arc Begins Chapter 105

The latest saga in the Dragon Ball manga has finally come to an end, and the next is possibly set to begin sooner than fans may realize.

During his first encounter with Universe 7’s savior, Saganbo was able to land a clean, and effective, blow on Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Following this, he simultaneously over-powered Gohan, Piccolo, 17, and 18. This is by far the greatest achievement by any of Moro’s subordinates, and it isn’t at all undercut by Saganbo’s subsequent defeat at the hands of Super Saiyan Blue Goku.

Gas Was Briefly the Strongest Mortal in Existence

Gas Was Merely a Pawn in His Family’s Schemes

The fighting prodigy of the Heeter Family, Gas is the main opposition that Goku and Vegeta face in the Granolah the Survivor Saga. However, it would be wrong to consider him the arc’s big bad, as he simply acts under the orders of his older brother, Elec. As such, Gas is the only henchman in Dragon Ball to have ever become the strongest mortal in the multiverse.

Fearsome as Gas was for most of his life, he only tasted true power after wishing on the Dragon Balls to become the strongest warrior in the universe. Following this, he was able to defeat Ultra Instinct Goku, and likewise prove his superiority over Granolah and Ultra Ego Vegeta. Gas couldn’t maintain his title as the strongest mortal for long, however, as not only was he killed by Black Frieza, but his body was already decaying as a result of his wish prior to this.
