Nostalgia is taking center stage in the latest Transformers timeline, with a diverse array of characters from across the brand making a comeback through new toy releases. These figures span from the well-loved robots in disguise from Western cartoons to a rare Maximal that first appeared in a Japan-exclusive anime series.

Unveiled at the MCM Comic-Con London 2025, the much-anticipated 2026 lineup for Transformers: Age of the Primes features a mix of classic characters and new introductions, now available for pre-order. Among the lineup are several actual Primes, who are the legendary ancestors of the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. The collection also pays tribute to Beast Wars, ensuring fans from every generation have something to look forward to.

The new Transformers: Age of the Primes toys come in various sizes, predominantly in the Deluxe Class range. One standout figure is Quintus Prime, an eponymous Prime known for creating the alien cyborg Quintessons. This figure transforms from a squid-like robot into a Cybertronian spaceship, designed with inspiration from The Covenant of Primus, and includes an Emberstone accessory. Another key figure is Sureshot, a Targetmaster from the later days of Generation 1, who morphs into a Cybertronian dune buggy with his partner, Spoilsport, transforming into his weapon. Additionally, the Deluxe Class Blast Off makes a return, transforming into a shuttle with a color scheme reflecting his original animation model, and is part of the Age of the Primes Bruticus toys.

Hasbro Rolls Out the Newest Transformers: Age of the Primes Toys for 2026

The size ranges for the new Transformers: Age of the Primes toys vary, with many of them being Deluxe Class figures. One of these is Quintus Prime, one of the line’s eponymous Primes and the creator of the alien cyborg Quintessons. Resembling his progeny, Quinus transforms from a squid-like robot into a Cybertronian spaceship. Based on the character’s design from The Covenant of Primus, the figure comes with an Emberstone accessory. Sureshot is a Targetmaster action figure based on a character from the latter days of Generation 1, and he transforms into Cybertronian dune buggy, while his Targetmaster partner Spoilsport turns into his gun. Fellow Deluxe Class Blast Off once again transforms into a shuttle, with the classic Combaticon team member featuring a color scheme based on his animation model and being part of the Age of the Primes Bruticus toys.

Quickstrike is a Fuzor from Beast Wars: Transformers, with his alternate mode combining two animals into one. In his case, he turns into a scorpion with a snake for a tail. Jalopy is an original character, but the Cybertronian (who transforms into a rust bucket of a roadster) is meant to be one of the classic Generation 1 Junkions who were introduced in The Transformers: The Movie. Voyager Class Amalgamous Prime is another member of the Thirteen Primes, and as his name suggests, his alternate modes are quite malleable. While his main alt-mode is a spider-like mech tank, the modular nature of his extra parts and ports means that he can achieve a variety of modes that depend solely on the whims of whoever is transforming him. Along with a scythe weapon, he also comes with Cybertronian artifacts and a Transformation Cog. Speaking of Junkions, Wreck-Gar has a new Voyager Class toy, though this figure, which transforms into a garbage truck, is based on his incarnation from the cartoon Transformers: Animated. Brawl is another Combaticon and transforms into a tank, and besides the turret on his back, he also has a blaster in robot mode.

Finally, there are two new Leader Class toys, with one of these from a Transformers anime. Big Convoy was the resident Optimus Prime stand-in seen in Beast Wars Neo: Super-Lifeform Transformers, and his new toy has almost all the same accessories as his infamous original figure. Transforming into an organic woolly mammoth with a posable trunk, his robot mode is laden with weapons such as handheld tonfas, Mammoth hakens, a removable Matrix of Leadership and a “Big Cannon” made from his beast mode head. Likewise, Razorclaw is a repaint of Transformers: Legacy: United Tigerhawk, similar to the Razorclaw figure from Transformers: Universe. Transforming from a robot into a bird/tiger fusion, he wields feather blades and a massive cannon into both modes. These toys can now be pre-ordered, with the Deluxe Class, Voyager Class and Leader Class toys costing $27.99, $42.99 and $59.99, respectively.
