In the captivating world of Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, players have the opportunity to step into the shoes of not only the formidable Sung Jinwoo but also other fan-favorite Hunters from the anime and manhwa series. Each character is unique, equipped with their own elemental affiliation, specific role, and weapon specialization. While some Hunters join your team automatically as you advance through the early chapters, others require a bit more effort, necessitating negotiations and recruitment from the Hunter Association hub.
This guide provides a comprehensive overview of all the Hunters you can play as in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive and the methods to recruit them.
All Hunters and how to get them in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive
Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive boasts a roster of 20 playable Hunters, each categorized by elements such as Aqua, Fire, Light, Dark, or Wind. They also fall into distinct combat classes, including Fighter, Tank, Mage, Assassin, and Support, each wielding their signature weapon type. While players initially take on the role of Sung Jinwoo, they can eventually expand their team by recruiting various Hunters.
Currently, there are two primary methods for acquiring Hunters in the game. Some become available simply by following the main storyline, while others require players to engage in negotiations and spend Hunt Coins at the Hunter Association terminal. To do this, visit the lower floor and speak with Lim Hajin, who will present contracts for three characters that can be hired. It’s important to note that this recruitment feature becomes accessible only after completing Chapter 3: Gatekeeper.
As of now, there are two ways to get Hunters in the game. While some can be obtained simply by progressing through the main storyline, the others must be recruited by negotiating and paying Hunt Coins at the Hunter Association terminal. Simply go to the lower floor and interact with Lim Hajin, and she will bring up contracts for three characters for you to hire. However, you should note that this feature only unlocks once you finish Chapter 3: Gatekeeper.
In case none of the three featured Hunters are up to your choice, you can wait for 20 minutes for the available contracts to refresh and pick from fresh options.
