It has already been reported that I’m A Celebrity’s Boy George was paid £500,000 for his time on the show.

However, it looks as though the singer, 61, could rake in even more cash from his jungle stint according to host Ant McPartlin.

As they celebrated the end of the series, the presenter, 47, was overheard telling George that he’s going to get ‘a lot of PRS’ thanks to the consistent plays of Culture Club hit Karma Chameleon.

Kerching! It looks as though the singer, 61, could rake in even more cash from his jungle stint according to host Ant McPartlin

While presenting I’m A Celebrity, Ant and Dec had a long-running joke in which they’d purposely try and mention Karma Chameleon in some capacity, resulting in a snippet of the song being played aloud while the duo danced.

While the campmates also sang along to the hit while enjoying karaoke at the Jungle Arms.

And with the numerous plays of the 1983 single – which was written by George and fellow band members Jon Moss, Mikey Craig, Roy Hay and Phil Pickett – they’ll no doubt earn plenty of royalties.

Following Jill Scott’s crowning as Queen of the Jungle, Boy George took to his Instagram to film the action behind the scenes, going up to his campmates and telling them ‘well done’ for their time on the show.

As the camera then panned to Ant and Dec who gleefully greeted George, Ant then said to George: ‘Well done. You’re going to get a lot of PRS from us playing Karma Chameleon.

‘I mean, a lot. Whenever we could!’

To which the performer replied: ‘Oh amazing. Thank you so much!’

It comes after Crissy Rock slammed the ‘obscene’ amounts of money the ‘greedy’ I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! stars are being paid this year as she joined MailOnline’s Jungle Confidential podcast.

Speaking about the amount they’re being paid she said: ‘We didn’t get much money to go on back in my day. When I went in I had nothing to prove – I didn’t go in to win.

‘We never got anything like that money they have now. You have to give half of your wages back to the Australian government.

‘I got £28,000 but only took away £14,000 – I think with them now being paid more – it is greed, it’s obscene when people can’t even pay their electricity.’
