Aura V had a remarkable evening at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The talented eight-year-old made history on February 1st, becoming the youngest artist to ever win a Grammy. She secured the Best Children’s Music Album award alongside her father, Fyütch, for their joint effort on the album “Harmony.”
After the ceremony, Aura shared her thoughts on the unforgettable experience.
“It was fun,” she expressed to reporters, reflecting on the collaborative project with her dad. “We got to spend time together, go out for dinner, and just relax.”
Fyütch, whose real name is Harold Simmons II, mentioned that his daughter was naturally drawn to the creative aspects of making the album.
“She enjoys the fun parts of making music,” he shared.
Music may come easily for the young performer, but she also showed an eye for fashion on Grammy night. For the ceremony, Aura selected a lavender dress for a reason.
“I picked out this lavender color because it’s chill,” she explained. “It’s relaxing. It helps me settle in because if I wore any other color, like red, that would blend into the red carpet.”
She smiled before adding, “I got to stand out.”
The Grammy win capped a year of standout moments for the father-daughter duo. What began as a project at home started after Aura asked to make music like her dad while watching him tour.
From there, the two began writing together. Aura later joined Fyütch onstage at venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Lollapalooza.

In fall 2024, the pair released the title track “Harmony,” which was later named one of Spotify’s Best Kids Songs of the Year. The song centers on Fyütch teaching his daughter about musical harmony and harmony among people, with Aura delivering a standout verse: “Peace, positivity, love, and empathy—this is the recipe for life in harmony.”
The rest of the album carries the same family-first spirit and includes contributions from artists across the family music and hip hop space, including VanVan, Kaitlin Becker, Genevieve Goings, Divinity Roxx, and Mega Ran.
