The Gold Coast mansion that was used as the backdrop for The Bachelors has gone under the hammer in a record multi-million dollar deal.

The stunning Broadbeach Waters property was used as the location of Bachelor spin-off The Bachelors starring Felix Von Hofe, Thomas Malucelli and Jed McIntosh.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported that the home went under an eye-watering $18million contract back in March 2024, but the deal failed to settle six months later.

The home went under the hammer for an impressive $16 million earlier this month, and despite a $2million reduction, still managed to set records for the area.

The publication reported that the sale eclipsed the previous Broadbeach Waters record of $15.1million.

‘I think most people are realising there are very few homes available on the river at the moment in that $12 to $30m price point,’ agent Michael Kollosche said.

‘If you look at the central Gold Coast right now there are four to five available on the riverfront in that price point.’

The Monaco Street mansion last sold for $14.5 million in October 2021.

The significant sale also broke records for a Broadbeach Waters property at that time.

The two-storey mansion includes four large bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gym and outdoor pool.

Created by celebrated Gold Coast designer Jared Poole, the home includes waterfront views and an impressive position on the river.

An upper-level balcony offers stunning views of nearby Surfers Paradise cityscape.

Coming in an a whopping 2,400 sqm, it includes a gym, fireplace and wet bar, as well as an alfresco entertaining space set on a waterfront pavilion.

Covering almost 2,400sqm with an incredible 115.1m of water frontage, the mansion has an open-plan kitchen and opulent dining areas.

The mansion was a massive upgrade from the $6.3million ‘French chateau’ in Dural, in Sydney’s west, used for Jimmy Nicholson’s season.

Before Dural, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette were filmed at a $2.3million property in Oxford Falls, in Sydney’s north.

The stunning Gold Coast property only served as the backdrop for one season of The Bachelors, with production heading south to Melbourne for he subsequent season.

A $6.4million mansion in the swanky Melbourne suburb of Brighton provided he luxe backdrop for the show’s eleventh and final season.

One of Sydney’s historic waterfront gems was recently unveiled as the secret filming location of the anticipated Samantha Armytage-helmed Bachelor spin-off The Golden Bachelor.
