The cameras are officially rolling at the 2026 BAFTAs.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards have kicked off in style at the Southbank Centre in London on February 22. As always, the event drew Hollywood’s elite, who crossed the Atlantic to showcase their most stunning fashion statements.
One standout attendee was Teyana Taylor. The One Battle After Another star, a nominee for Best Supporting Actress at the event hosted by Alan Cumming, turned heads in a striking Burberry creation.
Taylor’s ensemble, reminiscent of a trench coat, boasted a dramatic collar, a cinched waist, and was paired with equally bold statement boots.
Known for her fearless red carpet choices, the Straw actress has previously shared insights into the sources of inspiration behind her most memorable fashion moments.
“I mean, Harlem is a whole runway now, you know what I’m saying, especially in my era coming up,” she explained in a 2023 TikTok video during Paris Fashion week. “Harlem has always been a runway for me.”
And as for what pieces tend to catch her eye? Well, that’s a process only Teyana will understand. As she put it, “I think fashion is an expression, you know? I see it, I like it, I put it on.”
