Day 10: Housemates side-eye HoH’s choices – #BBNaija

It was a revealing round of diary sessions today as housemates voiced their growing frustrations.

The diary room saw no peace today. Housemates dropped the filters and spoke their truths, giving Biggie a mouthful. They didn’t hold back when asked about their new Head of House, Victory – and all seemed to agree on one thing: they are not happy with the way he addresses them.

Big Soso came with the receipts in her diary session, expressing her disappointment with his attitude. She revealed that despite addressing it with him before, he continues to speak to her and others in a disrespectful tone.

Just before her session, he apparently snapped over the wager props being moved, shouting that they shouldn’t have been touched. Big Soso didn’t let it slide and told him she doesn’t appreciate his tone.

Imisi and Ivatar also came through with the same energy, with Imisi telling Biggie she actually rooted for Victory to win HoH, but now she’s seeing a different side. She said power has changed him, adding that he talks to people anyhow – and it’s not sitting right with her. Ivatar, on the other hand, said she finds his tone abrasive and feels his delivery is off.

Props for the HoH

The house is definitely not at peace – and a lot of it also has to do with last night. Kaybobo shared with Biggie that he was caught off guard when Victory gave Kayikunmi immunity from possible eviction and further chose him as his HoH guest. In the same breath, he gave props where they are due and mentioned how much he respects him.

He acknowledged that Kayikunmi had allegedly been receiving a lot of hate from the house, but Victory’s decision shifted everything. In Kaybobo’s words: “Victory gained a friend for life and my respect, because he stood up for the one person everyone was hating on.”

Koyin weighed in on the nomination dynamics, saying he fully expected HoH Victory to save Kayikunmi. He pointed out that the two are clearly close, so Victory’s decision didn’t come as a surprise.

Tracy addresses the Big Soso debacle

Things have been tense between Big Soso and Tracy, who were once close friends until a fallout after the Saturday Night Party. Tracy opened up during her diary session about the situation, telling Biggie she misses Big Soso, but she is scared of repairing the friendship, for fear of getting hurt again.

Big Soso apologised to Tracy for confronting her over the weekend, after accusing her of going around talking about her. Though the apology was made, the vibe between them hasn’t quite been the same. The tension still lingers, and the sisterhood seems shaken.
