The glitz and glamour of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show extend far beyond the dazzling runway. Behind the scenes, it’s a spectacle of light, camera action, and meticulously crafted angelic appearances.
It takes a monumental effort to transform the celestial vision into reality. The show demands substantial investment, intense labor, and occasionally, some near back-breaking choreography, especially with those iconic angel wings. This is something creative director Adam Selman knows all too well.
“When you watch the show, you’ll notice everything is perfectly synchronized,” Adam Selman exclusively shared with E! News from the pink carpet. “I want the show to feel like a seamlessly moving train, where each segment flows into the next. It’s an absolute blast and incredibly fun.”
And orchestrating such a spectacular event certainly doesn’t come without a hefty price tag.
And it doesn’t come cheap, either.
“I’m the one conduit between the musical acts, the models, the creation of the clothes, the music that sets the tone and the stage design,” he explained. “It’s just a lot of expenditure—I mean that in all the joyful ways.”
While the VS team works furiously behind the scenes to put finishing touches on the day of the annual event, the models—which included sisters Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, as well as Emily Ratajkowski and Behati Prinsloo—began making their way backstage at 8 a.m., according to the call sheet obtained by E! News.
