A source told RadarOnline that Affleck now might have his sights set on Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney.

Ben has been crushing on Sydney for a while,” an insider alleged. “Just like nearly every other man in the world, he thinks she’s incredibly hot, and he’d love a chance to take her out. He swears his interest goes beyond her looks. She’s already making moves in Hollywood as a producer, and he thinks that’s incredibly impressive.”

The insider added that Affleck “heard great things about” Sweeney’s “intelligence and business savvy” through others, and he’s “eager to meet her.”

Sweeney and Jonathan Davino’s relationship has been a subject of public interest since they began dating in 2018. The Hollywood filmmaker allegedly wants an “independent” woman “strong in her convictions” who “understands that Ben’s sobriety has to come first.”

“Someone sober would be ideal, but it’s not a priority,” the source noted. ” … He really does want lasting love.”

Is Sydney Sweeney single?

It appears that Sydney Sweeney is officially single since breaking off her engagement to Jonathan Davino. Sweeney and Davino were allegedly having problems for quite some time, and the young star hoped to focus on her work moving forward.

“She’s exactly where she wants to be,” a source told People in March 2025. “Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects. What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it.”

The insider added that Sweeney isn’t “ready to settle down” just yet. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
