Details Of The Text
In the text, the lady who demanded the arrest of her boyfriend stated that he should remain in detention for weeks or months.
According to her, the demand stems from a serious issue between them and she wants him to change.
The text reads, “Good evening sir, I want you to arrest my boyfriend and lock him up in cell for weeks or months. I’ve a serious case with him so he can change”.
Benjamin Hundeyin Reacts To Lady’s Text Demanding Arrest Of Her Boyfriend
In response to the lady’s text, Benjamin Hundeyin stated that people are not arrested without legal grounds.
His tweet reads, “We are law abiding, please 🙄. We do not lock people up without legal basis”.
It would be recalled that Benjamin Hundeyin was appointed as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, on September 4, 2025.
His appointment came after the passing out parade of the Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) and other senior officers.
