Super Bowl XLVIII was as much about the A-list fans coming out to show their support for their favourite team as it was the action happening on the field at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Beyoncé were just two of the big-name stars sharing photos with fans as they got their respective parties started.
Fresh from her surprise appearance onstage with husband Jay Z at Saturday night’s DirecTV Super Bowl concert in New York, Queen Bey showed off her fun side as she posed with a number of lifesize cardboard cut-outs of NFL players.

The star is crouched down as if she’s about to make a tackle in the picture, though her towering black platform ankle boots suggest otherwise.
The 32-year-old appeared to be backing the Seahawks in her navy blue long-sleeved top and beanie, which she teamed with bright red leggings and a sleeveless green puffa jacket, with her long platinum tresses cascading down around her shoulders in loose waves.

Leo, meanwhile, appeared to be channelling his inner-gangsta in a snap taken with a group of his buddies.
The 39-year-old sits centrestage in the photo, wearing his favourite pageboy cap and with sunglasses covering his eyes, his hand held up to his face in an odd fashion as he smirks strangely.

The star was also donning a navy blue top and jeans, while his posse of male friends were mostly also similarly clad in dark clothing as they flanked him with rather serious expressions on their faces.
Among his pals were former My Name Is Earl star Ethan Suplee, who was showing off a much-trimmer face after a well-publicised battle with the bulge, and nightclub king Richie Akiva, on whose Instagram page the photo was posted.
While plenty of celebs chose to watch the game in the comfort of their own homes or at private viewing parties, some braved the crowds to get the full experience and witness the Seattle Seahawks defeat the Denver Broncos 43-8.
Jennifer Garner was among those making an early entrance, taking the opportunity to mingle before the hoards crammed into the stadium.

The actress was joined by Draft Day co-stars Kevin Costner and Denis Leary as they did a bit of promotion ahead of their NFL drama’s release on April 11.
The mom-of-three looked chic yet casual in all black, wearing a woollen cropped biker jacket over a matching top, pants and knee-high boots.
Her hair was styled in a no-fuss ponytail, with her fringe framing her pretty features, while she wore only a very minimal, natural covering of make-up.
Both Leary and Costner donned long black winter coats and sunglasses, while both also appeared to be rocking rather orange fake tans.

Kevin’s gorgeous wife, Christine Baumgartner, stuck close to her husband’s side during their outing, following suit in her all-black ensemble.
The 39-year-old warded off the cold in a cropped leather jacket and a snug scarf tied several times around her neck, keeping her long blonde tresses down to protect her ears.
The Super Bowl was the perfect setting to promote their upcoming movie.
The film centres on the General Manager of the Cleveland Browns American football team (played by Costner) as he struggles to acquire the number-one draft pick for his team.

Also in attendance was Hugh Jackman, who led the Aussie contingent that also included supermodel Miranda Kerr and her three-year-old son, Flynn.
The 45-year-old also appeared to get the black memo, donning a leather jacket, T-shirt, jumper and trousers as he made his way onto the field giving a thumbs up to fans.
Former Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul was spotted enjoying multiple parties in the lead-up to the big event, so it was no surprise that he too was at the stadium on game day.

The actor and big-time sports buff also looked completely awestruck as he posed next to former Super Bowl winning coach and current broadcaster Jimmy Johnson.
Other stars at the championship match included Jamie Foxx, David Beckham, Kevin Bacon, Katie Couric and a host of Victoria’s Secret beauties, as well as singer and actress-turned-talk show host Queen Latifah, who kicked things off with a pitch-perfect rendition of America The Beautiful to rapturous applause.
