Imagine spotting someone at a party with their outfit on inside-out. Would you inform them? Now, consider if that person happened to be Beyoncé. Would your response differ?
This scenario unfolded during Kris Jenner’s lavish 70th birthday celebration at Jeff Bezos’ $175 million estate. The “Drunk in Love” songstress attended alongside her husband, Jay-Z, wearing her dress in reverse. Naturally, this sparked curiosity about why Jay-Z might not have pointed out the fashion faux pas before they left home.
It turns out, there’s a perfectly good explanation for this.
At the star-studded event, held at Bezos’ Beverly Hills mansion, Beyoncé and Jay-Z mingled with a galaxy of celebrities. Among the illustrious guests were Mariah Carey, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Alicia Keys, Naomi Watts, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Adele, Chris Rock, Ciara, Vin Diesel, Snoop Dogg, La La Anthony, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Bruno Mars, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and Tyler Perry. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, also graced the occasion, arriving fashionably later than her daughter and son-in-law.
In a series of photos shared by Kris, Beyoncé, her mother, and Kris Jenner are seen beaming for the camera, capturing a delightful moment at the celebration.
Queen Bey and her mother were featured in a carousel of photos Kris shared with the three women smiling together as they posed for the camera.
“One of the very best nights of my entire life. I am beyond blessed and so very grateful for my precious family and friends!” Mama Kris captioned the snaps.
Beyoncé looked stunning in a $6,000 black Fendi mink-trimmed minidress. But some fans who checked out the exact dress on the company’s website noticed that the star had it on backwards. However, that appeared intentional on Bey’s part.
The front of the dress is a crew neck, while the back is a deep plunging V-neck. So the songstress switched it around, putting the V in the front. She added a sheer mesh bodysuit and matching mesh gloves to the ensemble. The “Texas Hold ‘Em” artist also donned plenty of Messika diamonds with her look.
Bey rocked the brand’s White Midnight Sun necklace, which features over 2,400 stones with a huge 3.55-carat pear-shaped diamond in the center. She had a Mille Feux necklace and a So Move Max choker on as well, and quite a few Messika rings, bracelets, and a pair of pavé earrings.
Many attributed all those diamonds to Beyoncé keeping with the party’s James Bond theme with the movie Diamonds Are Forever.

After the party, Knowles talked about what a great time she had and shared the same pic from the party Kris did with the caption: “Saturday night we attended the Birthday party of Kris Jenner it was such a fun party. One of the best I’ve ever been to, the decor was beautiful, the music was jamming from Bruno Mars to one of the best DJ sets ever, to delicious food, and people dancing, laughing, and having fun. Kris looked gorgeous and felt the love and the celebration of her life. Happy Birthday, Kris.”
