Emmanuel Obruste, widely recognized on social media as GehGeh, recently sparked a lively discussion during his guest appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast.
Joining the online conversation, GehGeh delved into the much-talked-about marital issues involving Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, a topic that has gripped audiences across Nigeria and social media platforms.
In a video that quickly gained traction, GehGeh appeared dressed in his signature Chancellor attire, symbolizing his GehGeh University of Wisdom. A podcast host remarked on his unique ensemble, prompting GehGeh to explain that he wore it to pay tribute to Ned Nwoko, whom he sees as exemplifying many of the ideals he advocates.
GehGeh stressed that his teachings are intended for practical application in everyday life, rather than being merely a badge of association with his university. He commended Nwoko as a “student” whose behavior amidst the marital turmoil has made him proud.
He further remarked that some people claim to be his students solely for the prestige it brings, without truly practicing the lessons he imparts.
Since the launch of GehGeh University of Wisdom, several celebrities have been seen attending his classes and taking notes. Notably, Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW, was spotted attending a session with friends a few months ago.
Amid the turmoil surrounding Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, GehGeh announced plans to send a certificate to Nwoko, recognizing his conduct during his marriage. He explained the reasoning behind the award and confirmed he would be mailing the certificate soon.
In his words:
“I want to appreciate Ned Nwoko, he really dey practice wetin I dey preach. When people talk say I be GehGeh student, you dey practice wetin I preach, abi you just want people to say you be man.”
