Beyoncé officially kicked off her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour on Monday (April 28) at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and she brought two very special guests to the stage-her daughters Blue Ivy Carter and Rumi Carter.

Now 13, Blue Ivy returned to the stage with confidence, performing “America Has a Problem” and “Déjà Vu.”

Taking center stage, she moved in sync with the beat, while fans cheered and her mom watched proudly on.

Later in the night, 7-year-old Rumi joined her mom and big sister during the performance of “Protector,” a track from Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album. It marked Rumi’s first time appearing onstage during a live show.

Blue’s live performance journey began in Paris on May 26, 2023, during the Renaissance World Tour. She joined the dancers for songs like “My Power” and “Black Parade.

Originally meant to be a one-off, her appearances quickly became a recurring part of the show.

“Blue is an artist,” Beyoncé told GQ last summer. “She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three. She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself.”

Blue has continued to build her own impressive résumé. She recently voiced Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, in Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King.

After the movie’s premiere last December, Beyoncé celebrated her daughter’s achievement, writing on Instagram, “My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”

Beyoncé has made it clear that family is at the center of her world. “My kids come with me everywhere I go,” she shared with GQ. “They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me.”

She also explained that her work schedule is built around her children’s school calendar “I always dreamt of a life where I could see the world with my family and expose them to different languages, architecture, and lifestyles.”

The Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour, which features 32 stadium shows across North America and Europe, is scheduled to conclude on July 26, 2025, in Paradise, Nevada.
