Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of music royalty Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Jay-Z (Shawn Corey Carter), has been in the spotlight since birth. And her rise to fame has been anything but ordinary. From her cameo on her father’s track “Glory” as a newborn to becoming a Grammy Award winner at 9 for her work on Beyoncé’s Brown Skin Girl, Blue Ivy has steadily carved out her own identity in the entertainment world. Now, sources allege that she’s ready to break away from her famous parents and start her own music career.
Blue Ivy Carter might already be planning her music takeover, a source revealed
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is proving she’s more than just a nepo baby. The 13-year-old busted out incredible moves on the opening night of her mother’s “Cowboy Carter” tour, showing her haters she’s willing to put in the work to make a name for herself. Now, she might be coming for the music industry. An insider told DailyMail.com that Blue is “considering starting her own career in music” now that she’s gotten a taste of touring life.
“Some of Beyoncé’s favorite writers are quietly penning demos for her in anticipation of a solo album,” the source continued.
The insider noted that Blue’s aunt, Solange Knowles, and songwriter and producer, The-Dream, already have material lined up for Beyoncé’s daughter if she wants to take her career and run with it.
“Blue is also writing material with help from Solange,” the source added. “The-Dream has been spearheading it, and he has two or three records for her. They know the fans want to hear a Blue record.”
Blue allegedly draws inspiration from a few of her favorites. Her famous parents make her listen to age-appropriate music. So, she allegedly has “Infinity Song, Michelle Williams’ Heart to Yours record, and Goapele” on repeat.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are allegedly not ‘pushing’ their kids to perform
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are incredible performers known for their talent and stage presence. It makes sense for their kids to inherit the same traits. However, a source previously told In Touch Weekly that the famous couple doesn’t want to push their kids into performance. That said, Blue Ivy Carter developed a “passion” for the arts on her own. And her parents will certainly help her attain gold status.
“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are very clear they aren’t pushing Blue to perform; this is something she’s passionate about and has been working towards since her first dance class when she was 3 years old,” the insider alleged. “She loves to perform and has a very obvious God-given talent that is blossoming before everyone’s eyes.”
The source added that Blue “writes songs” and has an “innate understanding of music” thanks to Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
“Plus, the minute she’s ready to start working on her first album, she’s going to be set up with the best producers and musicians in the business; it’s really a slam dunk that she’s going to be a star,” the source continued.
Beyoncé has cemented her daughter as an ’emerging talent’ in the industry, a public relations expert says
Lightfinder PR founder Grayce McCormick exclusively spoke to The U.S. Sun about the careful moves Beyoncé has made to ensure Blue Ivy Carter has a lifetime of success. Beyoncé secured the trademark for Blue Ivy’s name following a 12-year legal battle. This gives Blue Ivy legal protection over the use of her name moving forward.
“In recent appearances, Beyonce has struck a balance between relatability and exclusivity, from her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ to her curated presence at high-profile events,” the expert explained. “These appearances not only reaffirm her iconic status but also introduce Blue Ivy into the public consciousness as an emerging talent.”
McCormick noted that Blue Ivy’s tour performances “highlighted a multi-generational legacy in the making, a unique narrative in entertainment branding that piques curiosity about Blue Ivy’s future. From a PR perspective, this move is consistent with Beyoncé’s reputation as a meticulous and forward-thinking businesswoman.”
