Blueface and his partner, Nevaeh Akira, are celebrating the arrival of their newborn son.
The joyful news about their baby boy, Johnathan Jamal Porter, made its grand debut on August 18, with both parents sharing the announcement on their streaming platforms.
During an engaging Kick livestream, Blueface took a moment to praise Akira’s new journey into motherhood while viewers poured in with congratulatory messages and curiosity about the baby.
“You look beautiful. The entire chat is proud of you, cheering you on,” Blueface expressed to Akira before inquiring about their son’s birth weight.
“He’s 8 pounds, chat. I welcomed a big baby boy,” Akira shared enthusiastically.
Their son’s arrival comes just days after the parents celebrated with a cowboy-themed baby shower surrounded by family and friends. In a clip from the celebration, Blueface joked that the theme was for Akira, who wanted a “little cowboy.” When she reminded him that the shower was for him, too, the rapper insisted the day belonged to her.
“It’s your baby shower. I am just the baby daddy,” he said.
Akira later thanked those who helped make the day special and revealed that she was more than ready to meet her son.
“Besides everything that transpired, I’m so appreciative for @r_ann_b and her team for throwing me the first best best heartfelt baby shower ever,” she wrote on Instagram. “To feel loved and honored in the most respectful way was the best feeling.”
She added, “Praying and hoping he comes tonight because I’m ready!”
Blueface and Akira also went with a cowboy theme for their maternity shoot at a ranch. Akira showed off her baby bump while posing alongside the rapper and her son, with a horse joining them for several of the photos.
Johnathan is Blueface’s fourth child. The rapper is also dad to son Javaughn and daughter Journey with Jaidyn Alexis, as well as daughter Chrisean Jr. with Chrisean Rock.
Akira is also a mom to son Superior.
