Blueface is addressing rumors surrounding the developmental progress of his 2-year-old son, Chrisean Jr., attributing much of the concern to his former partner, Chrisean Rock.
In a recent interview with VladTV released on Friday, November 28, the rapper responded to inquiries about whether his son has any disabilities. Blueface, who had previously questioned his paternity but now openly accepts the boy, firmly denied any such issues.
“There is no disability. The only issue is her,” Blueface said, pointing fingers at Chrisean. “She isn’t as engaged in motherhood as she should be. The typical activities you do with kids—helping them learn to walk and talk—require a lot of involvement, and that’s where she’s falling short.”
He further elaborated on his son’s physical abilities.
“He can see, he can stand, he can move. He’s very agile and mobile,” Blueface stated, noting that the only concern is that his son “doesn’t talk.”
“He can see. He can stand. He can move. He’s very agile. [He] is very mobile,” he said, adding that the child simply “doesn’t talk.”
According to the rapper, engagement, not a medical condition, is what’s missing.
“He makes noises and stuff,” Blueface explained. “If you put the time into it, it’ll happen. But if you don’t, it’s not going to happen for any baby, gang. Like, if you have a baby and you leave him in the stroller all day or you just leave him… You’re not as intuitive and tentative, you’re not putting on these kid shows and things for him to see and hear kids, any child’s going to be behind.”
He noted that the toddler previously dealt with a hernia that temporarily affected his mobility, but said the issue was fixed.
The comments arrive one week after Chrisean Rock appeared on the podcast One Night with Steiny, where she said she sometimes regrets having a child with Blueface and accused both him and his mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, of perpetuating “evil.”
