It looks like one good thing came out of Teresa Giudice‘s prison sentence: her friendship with Bob Harper.

The personal trainer, who starred in 17 seasons of The Biggest Loser, told Andy Cohen how he got to know Giudice when he appeared on Tuesday night’s (Jan. 28) episode of Watch What Happens Live.

“You reached out to me saying, ‘Teresa’s in prison and she really likes your workout DVDs,’” Harper explained to Cohen. “So I had all of my workout DVDs sent to Teresa.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her ex-husband pled guilty to bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud in 2014. She was later sentenced to 15 months in prison, but was released after 11 months.

Following her incarceration, she “formed a bond” with Harper and even guest-starred alongside him on an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

“All of a sudden, Teresa and I became friends,” Harper said. “She was like, ‘I’m inviting you to my wedding.’ I was like, ‘I’m absolutely going to this wedding.’”

Giudice married Luis “Louie” Ruelas back in August 2022. While her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga were not in attendance, many other Bravolebrities made the trip to New Jersey to see the reality TV icon tie the knot, including three of Harper’s co-stars from The Traitors Season 3: Dolores Catania, Chanel Ayan, and Dorinda Medley.

Out of the three women he met at the wedding, Harper felt closest to Catania during their time on The Traitors — but is that really a surprise? The other two Housewives were banished from the castle within the first couple of episodes.

“Dolores is my ride or die. I love her,” he said. “I met her at Teresa’s wedding. She and I were just — we sat side by side at the roundtable. I have nothing but love for her. She is just — she’s perfect.”
