Viewers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey may have to wait even longer for new content. Season 14, which concluded in May 2024, left fans wondering if the series will ever return. Subsequently, news surrounding the reality TV show has been minimal, leaving viewers to question whether it will make a comeback.

Will ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ return to Bravo at all?

As of March 2025, The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains on an indefinite hiatus. Season 14 concluded without a traditional reunion due to deeply rooted issues among its cast members.

RHONJ Executive Producer Andy Cohen indicated that updates on the show’s future won’t be available until 2026. He asked fans to be patient during an episode of his SIRIUS XM radio series.

“We are going to reimagine the show in some way, and I was just like, ‘Yeah, we’re rebooting. … Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces.’ And that was just me kind of in the mood.”

Cohen also told E! News, “There will be no decisions made for many months on Jersey. So anything you read about casting on Jersey is not true.”

OK! Magazine cited a production source close to the series who claimed, “As far as RHONJ goes, there is no timeslot for 2025 for the show. There is also nothing scheduled for 2026. To be blunt, there is no show as things currently stand.”

Reportedly, there have been discussions about a potential recast, but no official decisions have been announced. The most recent RHONJ cast included Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.

What happened at the end of season 14 of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’

During the Season 14 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, tensions escalated during a group dinner at Rails Steakhouse. The event culminated in a heated confrontation between Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral, over an ongoing personal dispute.

The drama intensified when Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga exchanged insults. During season 14, Melissa and Teresa avoided each other and didn’t engage in conversations or even discuss each other. They attended separate events with the group, further emphasizing their lack of interaction. 

During the last episode of season 14, Jackie Goldschneider admitted to previously contacting Luis Ruelas’ ex-girlfriend, contradicting her earlier denials of doing so and shifting Guidice’s suspicions away from frienemy Margaret Josephs. Giudice was angry at Josephs for what she believed was her part in contacting Ruelas’s ex but didn’t appear upset at Goldschneider when she learned she was the culprit.

Goldschneider reportedly contacted Ruelas’ ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser, in early 2021 after Giudice spread infidelity rumors about Jackie’s husband, Evan Goldschneider. Reiser was used as Goldschneider’s informant as revenge information against Giudice.

Dolores Catania said she’s a ‘little mad’ at broken cast bond

In a December 2024 interview with People Magazine, Dolores Catania admitted being upset with her fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates. She said, “They made a mess” of the show’s legacy.

“I’d look forward to seeing my cast come back on the screen or even come back to film, but they made a mess. I’m a little mad that everybody couldn’t get it together. I really am.”

Catania continued, “It’s time to put egos aside. You don’t throw something like this away. We had great ratings. We did well—we just have to learn how to act. This is what life is. It’s about fighting and making up.”
