Brittany Cartwright has once again embraced the single life. The star of “The Valley” recently revealed that her relationship with Brandon Hanson has come to an end. This announcement was made during the October 10 episode of her podcast, “When Reality Hits.” The couple had only taken their relationship public a couple of months prior, in August 2025.
Cartwright cited the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship as a key reason for their split. Juggling the logistics of staying connected while being miles apart proved to be more taxing than anticipated.
Brittany Cartwright is single again.
The Valley star has ended her relationship with Brandon Hanson, she announced on the October 10 episode of her When Reality Hits podcast. The two went public with their romance in August 2025.
“We actually did not last,” the Bravo personality revealed. “We were very good friends before we started dating. It was a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.”
Logistics played a role in the breakup, Brittany explained. He has several children, while she shares a 4-year-old son, Cruz, with her ex, Jax Taylor.
“I could not do the long distance and he’s got a lot of obligations with his three kids and jobs,” she said. “We lived three hours away, so it was too tough to keep it going.”
Brittany added that it was an amicable parting.
“Hopefully we can remain friends,” she said, “but it’s just something I didn’t see that was going to be able to continue in the future.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum went on to say that she was still recovering from the end of her four-year marriage to Taylor. That relationship ended in early 2024, with Brittany filing for divorce in August. Taylor’s substance abuse and anger issues were major factors in the split.
“I still got a lot of healing to do, a lot of learning to do,” Brittany said. “So I think being single for a little bit longer is what’s best for me.”
