Cam Newton is going to be a dad again! His girlfriend, comedian Jasmin Brown, revealed on Mother’s Day that she and the retired NFL star are expecting their second child together.

Brown, who goes by Watch Jazzy on social media, announced the news in an Instagram post on Sunday, sharing a photo of her baby bump alongside a caption:

“Feeling ALL the Love, kicks and elbows. Cheers to our growing tribe. #happymothersday #watchjazzy #bestfriendinyourhead.”

In her Instagram Stories, the mom-to-be also opened up about how much motherhood has changed her life. “Being a mom has filled me with unimaginable joy. I truly love it here and I will never be the same,” she wrote.

This will be Newton’s ninth child overall. Earlier last year, Newton and Brown welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, in March 2024. 

The former quarterback also shares four children with ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor: sons Chosen Sebastian, Camidas Swain, and Cashmere Saint, and daughter Sovereign-Dior Cambella. He also helps raise Proctor’s older daughter, Shakira.

In addition, Newton has two children with photographer LaReina Shaw: their son, Caesar, and Shaw’s older son, Jaden, from a previous relationship.

Cameron previously opened up about wanting more kids on his podcast, Funky Friday, which aired on August 23, 2024. On the episode, he sat down with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant for a two-and-a-half-hour conversation that explored his fear of marriage.

When asked if he intended to have more children with more women, Newton responded, “I just want God to bring them. My point is this: my desire to get married is lower than my fear of divorce.”

Earlier this year, he also appeared on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, where he opened up about life after football and the challenges of providing for a large family.

“It hurts me knowing that I can’t provide like I once did. It hurts thinking that I’m Superman, but in reality, I’m just a man,” he said on the show.
