Cardi B has thrilled fans by unveiling the first glimpse of her newborn son.

On November 19, the artist shared a series of endearing images on Instagram, featuring herself alongside her baby with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

The 33-year-old posted a carousel of images, including several of herself cradling the little one. In several of photos the baby – whose name Cardi hasn’t shared – is swaddled in a New England Patriots blanket, a nod to his dad, who is the team’s wide receiver. She also included a photo of herself and Diggs in the hospital room shortly after their son’s birth. 

“11/4,” Cardi captioned the post, revealing the baby’s birthday. 

Congratulations rolled in after Cardi shared the images. But one detail in particular caught they eye of some fans. They noticed what looked like a diamond ring on Cardi’s left hand in the final photo in the series. Many assumed it was a sign that she and Diggs were planning to tie the knot. 

“So no one else peeped the potential engagement ring?!” one person commented. 

“Is that an engagement ring,” another asked. 

“I am the only one noticing a ring in the last slide?!” someone wrote. 

Cardi hasn’t commented on the engagement speculation. She is currently still married to rapper Offset, with whom she shares three kids: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. She filed for divorce in July 2024 after seven years of marriage, but the split is not yet final. 

Rapper says starting over has ‘been so worth it’ 

While Cardi is still in the process of legally unwinding her marriage, she says she’s already moved on to the next chapter of her life, and she couldn’t be happier. 

“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” she wrote in an Instagram post earlier in November. “My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.” 

“This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way,” she continued. “I’ve started prepping for tour getting my body right getting my mind right. There’s nothing thats gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a life time! I’ve learned i’ve healed, and im loving the woman i’ve become! Thats what this next era means to me and i’m stepping into it better than ever.”
