Leave it to Cardi B to spark a buzz whenever the topic of pregnancy arises. The soon-to-be mother of four gave a candid explanation for her repeated pregnancies, in the only way Cardi B can.

The Grammy-winning artist, currently expecting her fourth child, had fans in stitches this week with her straightforward and cheeky reply to a curious fan’s question.
On Monday, October 13, Cardi posted a relatable meme on X (formerly known as Twitter), featuring Black-ish star Anthony Anderson crying, with the caption, “I’m uncomfortable when I sit, when I lay down, when I stand up… I can’t take this no more.”
A follower chimed in with the question on everyone’s mind, “Then why do you keep getting pregnant?” Without missing a beat, Cardi humorously responded, “Cause I keep f@#$%^&.”
This unfiltered honesty is precisely what endears Cardi to her fans, and unsurprisingly, her post quickly went viral.
That unfiltered response is exactly what fans love about the artist and, of course, the post instantly went viral.
Cardi is currently pregnant with her fourth baby, her first with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, whom she began dating in October 2024. The rapper is already mom to Kulture Kari, 7, Wave Set, 4, and Blossom Belle, 1, whom she shares with her estranged husband Offset.
But behind the jokes, Cardi takes motherhood seriously. During an Oct. 6 appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, the Bronx native opened up about her parenting philosophy and the legacy she hopes to leave for her kids.
“It’s discipline. It’s gotta be in you, and you have to be better than me. I want you to be better than me,” she said. “There’s things that I cannot do that I want my kids to do.”

She continued, “I want you to be smarter than me. I want you to be — not perfect because you cannot make your kids perfect and you don’t want you to put pressure on your kids [to be] perfect — but I want you to be a 100 times better version than me, and I’m gonna [instill] that in you and you’re gonna be mad and you’re gonna be crying, but you’re gonna appreciate that one day because I wish the things that that I put on my kids that somebody put in me when I was younger.”
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after seven years of marriage. The pair’s relationship has seen several breakups and reconciliations since their secret wedding in 2017. Their divorce has not yet been finalized.
