Carmelo Anthony and La La Anthony’s son, Kiyan Anthony, has officially graduated from high school, wrapping up his time at Long Island Lutheran.

La La shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, “This just happened!! Kiyan is officially a highschool graduate!!! Class of 2025!!! I don’t know how to feel right now.”

Carmelo Anthony also celebrated the milestone, sharing on Instagram, “High school graduation…what an accomplishment! This world has so much in store for you. Proud of you always @kiyananthony.”

Next up for Kiyan is Syracuse University, where his father made history by winning a national championship in 2003. He plans on majoring in communications.

Recently, Kiyan spoke with Deja from Nilosophy about stepping out of his father’s shadow and building his own legacy. When asked about balancing basketball and business, Kiyan highlighted the role of his support system.

“Obviously, my parents do a really good job of like making sure I keep basketball the main thing. So I’m just focused on basketball. Like me personally, I’m just focused on basketball, and then everything is just secondary. Like the business stuff, my brand, all the NIL stuff—I know all of that is going to come. So just having people to talk to me, and in my off time when I’m done in the gym, when I’m done with my games, focusing on, you know, all of the NIL stuff, all of the brand stuff—actually being a businessman.”

He also shared how he learns from his father’s approach to business.

Like, my dad has a lot of different type of, you know, brands and a lot of different sources of income. So I just watch how he manages, I watch how he moves, and I really just try to copy him. Like my whole life I basically looked up to him. So just seeing how cool and laid-back he stays even when times get tough—like he’s always super chill, he never starts panicking.”

On a fun note, Kiyan revealed his dream NIL partnership:

“I love snacks, so like, fruit snacks, like Doritos or one of those brands, I could just get unlimited Doritos, that would be like, you know, the goal,” Kiyan Anthony told Deja Kelly. “Yeah, like a lifetime supply of Doritos, I’ll be good.”
