In her first social media post since Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, Cassie Ventura gave her followers a little insight into her life with a meme about motherhood. Ventura was heavily pregnant when she gave her harrowing testimony at Combs’ trial, and she gave birth shortly afterward. Ventura reposted a joke about the postpartum period, adding that she’s slowly feeling like her “old self” again.

In May, Ventura was the prosecution’s star witness in Combs’ trial. She spent four days on the witness stand detailing her relationship to Combs. At the time, she was eight and a half months pregnant, and she gave birth just weeks later.

In her first Instagram post since the trial and giving birth, Ventura shared a video of a man dancing to “Wild Thoughts” by Rihanna and DJ Khaled with text overlay that read, “When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum.”

“Factual,” Ventura wrote. “Little by little lol.”

Ventura and her husband, Alex Fine, welcomed their son on May 28. The couple also has two daughters, Frankie and Sunny. Just ahead of their eldest daughter’s birth, Ventura shared her hopes for motherhood.

“I don’t want to lose myself in becoming a mom,” she said. “Of course, I will do anything for her, but I also want to remain true to myself. I want her to grow up watching me do my thing. I want her to see me making music, building my business, being a mom, a wife, a force, and be inspired by it all. I want to lead by example so she can grow up knowing that she can do anything and be everything her heart desires.”
