Renowned Nigerian actress Sarah Martins has made startling allegations against the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation (KAI) officials, accusing them of assault during a charity event in Lekki Phase 1.
According to a post on her Instagram account, Sarah detailed how she was engaged in distributing free meals to the needy on Admiralty Way when KAI personnel allegedly confiscated her cooking supplies and food.
In a more alarming development, Sarah alleged that during the confrontation, she was physically attacked, with hot oil being poured onto her hand.
In a more disturbing twist, the actress claimed she was physically assaulted and had hot oil poured on her hand during the confrontation.
“I was just trying to help the less privileged, and this is how I was treated,” she lamented, expressing deep frustration and pain over the ordeal.
The incident comes shortly after Sarah announced the purchase of a new car on social media. Many of her fans have since condemned the actions of the KAI officials and called for justice.
Social media users have also expressed concern over the treatment of individuals who engage in charity work for the needy, pointing out the growing challenges faced by well-meaning citizens trying to make a difference.
