Cheryl, known for her glamorous superstar persona, has shown a more relatable side in a recently resurfaced clip. The footage, which hails from the 2006 reality documentary “Girls Aloud: Off the Record,” captures Cheryl the morning after what appears to have been a rather lively night out.
In the clip, the now 42-year-old singer can be seen sporting oversized sunglasses and a slightly disheveled hairstyle, looking a bit under the weather. This candid moment reveals that even celebrities like Cheryl are not immune to the effects of a night of indulgence.
Cheryl might be one of the most glamorous superstars around but an unearthed clip proves that she’s just like everyone else after a night out.
The singer, now aged 42, appeared in a fly-on-the-wall doc Girls Aloud: Off the Record in 2006 and it seems she had hit the bar a little too heavy the night before.
Wearing oversized shades and sporting messy hair, Cheryl appeared a little green around the gills.
She said: ‘I tried to eat a piece of toast. Oh no. Hurled back up. I feel really bad and I advise anybody, if you are thinking about having a drink not to.’
The camera then pans to her being sick in a bin while her pal takes care of her.
Cheryl as you’ve never seen her before! Singer suffered a brutal hangover and was sick in a bin after a wild night out in a 2006 clip which has since been turned into a Christmas meme
Proving to be more Hurls Aloud than Girls Aloud, Cheryl was sick into a bin after going on a big night out and overindulging
Sporting oversized shades and messy hair, Cheryl urged others to never drink, telling the camera she has ‘spew up her trousers’
‘I’ve got spew up me trousers,’ she said, comically.
Socia media site Hunsnet shared the video on Instagram on Monday and wrote: ‘Me hanging my Harris out the day after the works Christmas party wondering why HR have already emailed me twice.’
It’s not the first time Cheryl has hilariously fallen victim to what she has said or done on the show.
In the same series Cheryl, who was just 22 at the time, insisted she would want no part of a future Girls Aloud reunion after the age of 30 because it would be ’embarrassing.’
Speaking at the time when the girls were at the peak of their fame, she told the camera: ‘There will be no reunions though, can you imagine 30-odd-year-old “I’m just a Love Machine” nah, no thanks!’
She continued: ‘I think it would be foolish to think that people haven’t thought about what they want to do after the band.
‘Just because, it is four years down the line now and realistically how long have we got? Another few year, if that.’
In the same documentary, called Girls Aloud: Off the Record, Cheryl, then aged 22, insisted there would be ‘no reunion’ for the band after the age of 30
