The 42-year-old actor and his 49-year-old actress wife wrapped themselves in uniquely crafted blankets designed by artist Otis Hope Carey, adding a touch of creativity to their serene setting.

The A-list couple shared a glimpse at their home life on Tuesday as they posed in artistic blankets on the deck of their $50million Byron Bay mega-mansion.

Standing alongside their infamous infinity pool, the pair looked relaxed and playful as they wrapped themselves up in the colourful fabric. 

In his caption, Chris described the throws as ‘the world’s comfiest of blankets.’

With a stunning sunset behind them, the couple’s home looked picture perfect, despite recent images showing some disrepair at the property.

Exclusive photos obtained by Daily Mail show patches of moss creeping up sections of the exterior walls of the lavish estate the pair call home.

It gives parts of the lavish home an unexpectedly weathered look, with dirt and grime also visible on several surfaces, while fallen leaves have collected along the walls and outdoor areas.

Meanwhile, rust is beginning to form on some of the mansion’s metal fixtures, adding to the signs of weathering visible on the exterior.

Small streaks can be seen around railings and fittings, highlighting the effects of the coastal climate on the expansive property. 

The images serve as a rare glimpse behind the scenes of one of Australia’s most high-profile homes, showing that even celebrity mansions can be subject to the ravages of time.

While still undeniably impressive in scale and design, the shopping centre-sized estate is clearly not immune to the elements.

Chris and his wife say that Byron Bay provides a calmer environment in which to raise children – daughter India and twin boys, Sasha and Tristan. 

The couple completed the mansion in 2021, and it has skyrocketed in price since.

Elsa was gorgeous in a fitted green crochet dress that sat close to her figure and showed off a hint of skin via a cut-out at the midriff. 

Chris kept things casual in a white tank top under a black shirt worn with matching trousers. 

The effortlessly cool couple were joined by Liam, 35, who struck a pose in an all-black ensemble.
