The author shared an image of a homemade chocolate cake in her Instagram stories writing,“I’m feeling grateful to be back home. This is all I could muster up for Esti’s birthday.”

If you look closely, the cake was decorated with figurines of Esti’s favorite wrestler, John Cena, sitting in the midst of sprinkles and chocolate and another is standing holding a single cake pop.

Chrissy Teigen and her family were among the thousands of California residents that have had to flee their homes in the wake of the California wildfires.

On January 8, the former model shared in her Instagram stories that she is “very scared” at having to evacuate her home with her four kids, pets, and her husband, EGOT-winner, John Legend. At the time, Teigen called the scene a “hellscape”.

“I haven’t had the words, it is a hellscape,” she wrote.

“We are okay as of right now, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don’t know who are not ok. Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now, please send anything you see. And god bless the firefighters and all first responders.”

Teigen continued sharing images as she, her husband, their four children, four dogs, and a bearded dragon, Sebastian, all settled into a hotel room. “4 dogs, 4 kids and a [bearded] dragon walk into a hotel,” she wrote over one image. Thankfully, Teigen and her family were able to return home and quietly celebrate Esti’s day at home.

At the time of publishing, as a result of the still raging wildfires, at least 25 people have been killed more than 100,000 individuals have been displaced. We continue to send our thoughts to all of those the city of Los Angeles.
