Chrissy Teigen shares a plethora of relatable parenting moments with the world on social media. Most recently, the mother-of-four revealed that mealtime at her dinner table doesn’t always go as planned, especially when it comes to her youngest two children, Wren and Esti.

The Cravings cookbook author shared the relatable dinnertime moment via her Instagram stories. Teigen showed a mouth-watering looking meal consisting of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots, and how her two one-year-old’s refused to touch their dinners.

“Please eat it, please eat it. Can you please try it?” she pleaded with the duo, who are sitting in protest in their highchairs.

In another post, the 39-year-old said, “To all the moms struggling out there with dinner, it does not matter. You can spend three hours making it or five minutes making it, it doesn’t matter. They hate it.”

Prior to Wren and Esti’s dinnertime boycott, Teigen demonstrated her skills in the kitchen, creating the meal basically from scratch, sharing one shortcut with fans — the use of powdered mashed potatoes.

“These are so good and took me 4 minutes,” she revealed. “I’m losing it over how good they are, nobody’s going to know.”

Last week, Teigen’s husband, EGOT-winner John Legend admitted to Kelly Clarkson on her daytime talk show that he and his wife are “the embarrassing parents” when it comes to supporting their eldest children at their events. 

“What kind of parent are you when you go to their performances, are you like the embarrassing one?” Clarkson asked the Legend.

“Yeah, we like [to] embarrass her,” Legend teased.

“You know, Chrissy is going to make some noise and I make some noise and she’s like, ‘Dad, Mom!’ “

Clarkson, who has two children of her own, agreed that she is also an embarrassing parent, saying, “We’ve earned it.”

“Yes absolutely,” Legend replied. “And they need support. We’re supporting them.”

In addition to Wren and Esti, the famous couple also share eldest children, daughter Luna 8 and Miles, 6.
