Cierra was pulled from the ‘Love Island USA’ villa after it was discovered she’d used a racial slur in past social media posts.

Your favorite Islanders are coming together to discuss all the drama that went down duringLove Island USA Season 7. But one person will be missing from the upcoming reunion.

Cierra Ortega won’t be reuniting on stage with her castmates during the August 25 reunion. The 25-year-old was booted from the villa after social media posts in which she used a racial slur surfaced.

‘I will not be at the reunion,’ Cierra Ortega says

“At this point in time, I will not be at the reunion,” Cierra shared in a multi-part TikTok Q&A on July 27. “I feel lighter knowing that my perspective, my thoughts and my feelings and my emotions is out there.”

In the video, Cierra also opened up about the moment she learned she was going home. Producers pulled her aside for a chat just a week ahead of the show’s season finale. She immediately knew something was up.

“These are really normal, you have check-ins throughout the day,” she said. “This one, obviously, felt different. They pulled me and they just said to me point blank, ‘There’ve been some posts that have surfaced on your social media that don’t align with our values, they don’t align with the network’s values and we don’t have any choice but to remove you from the show.’”

While her time on Love Island USA didn’t end as she hoped, Cierra said she accepts she has only herself to blame for what happened.

“The experience did end negatively because of my own actions,” she said. “That is something I’ll have to deal with.”

The Love Island USA Season 7 reunion, hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, will be available to stream on Peacock on Monday, August 25.
